Terms of Service for Tutors (Vincular)

Article 1 (Applicability and Positioning)

These Terms apply to individuals (hereinafter referred to as "Tutors") who provide lessons through Vincular (hereinafter referred to as "the Service") as tutors. Tutors shall use the Service upon agreeing to these Terms.

Article 2 (Registration and Scope of Work)

  1. Tutors shall be individuals registered with the Service after undergoing screening and interviews.
  2. Preparation of lesson content and materials shall generally be done by the tutor, and guidance shall be provided according to the learner's purpose and level.
  3. Lesson provision, feedback, scheduling, lesson history management, etc., shall be completed on the Service.

Article 3 (Prohibited Acts)

Tutors are prohibited from the following acts:

  1. Direct contracts or settlements with learners not via the Service.
  2. Slander, intimidation, discrimination, or nuisance behavior towards learners or the management.
  3. Acts that violate laws or public order and morals.
  4. Declaration of false registration information, lending of accounts to third parties.
  5. Unauthorized acquisition or external provision of learners' personal information.

Article 4 (Remuneration and Payment)

  1. Based on payments from learners, the amount after deducting the commission rate specified by the management will be paid as tutor remuneration.
  2. Payment of remuneration will be made on the specified date after confirmation of deposit.
  3. When a cancellation occurs, it will follow the learner terms.
    • If the learner cancels up to 2 days before → Refund or credit adjustment
    • Cancellation on the day before or the day of → Generally non-refundable, tutor remuneration is generated
  4. In the case of unauthorized absence or cancellation on the day due to the tutor's convenience, remuneration will not be paid when a refund occurs.

Article 5 (Lesson Quality and Responsibilities)

  1. Tutors are responsible for strictly observing the lesson start time and continuously maintaining appropriate teaching quality.
  2. In the event of trouble, tutors shall cooperate with the management and respond to necessary information provision and explanations.
  3. Pre-lesson contact and scheduling shall generally be done within the Service, and direct contact or settlement outside shall not be performed.

Article 6 (Cancellation, Refund, and Rescheduling)

  1. Cancellations by learners are possible up to 2 days before the lesson date, and refunds are not possible thereafter.
  2. If the lesson could not be provided due to the tutor's convenience, priority will be given to rescheduling or refunds.
  3. In the case of non-implementation due to system failure, etc., the management will decide on rescheduling or refunds.

Article 7 (Disclaimer and Scope of Liability)

  1. The management does not guarantee the revenue or customer attraction effects generated by using the Service.
  2. The management will strive to arbitrate troubles occurring between tutors and learners, but the final responsibility lies with the tutor.
  3. If a violation of the terms or a serious problem with lesson quality is recognized, the management may take measures such as suspension of registration or withholding of remuneration.

Article 8 (Changes to Terms)

These Terms may be changed at the discretion of the management, and shall take effect upon posting on the site or notification after the change.
